On January 25, 2026, Petrovietnam Marine Shipyard Joint Stock Company (PV Shipyard) completed the loadout and handover of two HRSG modules under the HRSG Module Golar MK-II FLNG Vessel Project for KANFA AS, marking an important milestone in project implementation, with PV Shipyard acting as the EPC contractor.

The two HRSG modules are large-scale integrated technology modules, each weighing more than 1,033 tons. Manufactured and assembled in accordance with the project’s technical requirements, the modules have completed fabrication, inspection, and mechanical completion, and were certified by the international classification society DNV prior to loadout and handover.
The project contract was awarded in February 2023, with fabrication commencing in November 2023. Following engineering, procurement, and construction activities, the two HRSG modules achieved mechanical completion by the end of September 2025, meeting the project’s technical requirements.

HRSG modules are key components of the FLNG vessel system, designed to recover heat from gas turbine exhaust to generate steam for steam turbine operation, thereby improving overall power generation efficiency. The fabricated modules integrate multiple technical systems, including load-bearing structures, process piping, heat exchange equipment, and related auxiliary components.
The successful loadout and handover of the two HRSG modules for KANFA AS further demonstrate PV Shipyard’s project management capability and experience in delivering heavy industrial EPC projects in the energy sector.
