PTSC visited the OTC Malaysia 2022

From 23/03/2022 to 25/03/2022, the biennial Offshore Technology Conference Asia  was held in Kuala Lumpur Conference Center (KLCC) – the OTC Malaysia 2022. This year, the OTC Malaysia 2022 was considered as one of the important events for the offshore sector in Malaysia and also in Asia region. The first global OTC was held in 1969 and then the event is held annually during early May in Houston, Texas, US while the first OTC Asia was held in 2014. OTC brings together industry leaders, investors, buyers, and entrepreneurs opportunities to meet, to develop business partnerships and to learn about the latest advances in the offshore sector.

The OTC Malaysia 2022 attracted a large number of leading oil and gas suppliers and service providers, to exhibit and introduce their up-to-date offshore technology resources and knowledge to clients and vendors, after a long time of separation due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. Beside it, the OTC Malaysia 2022 was also designed with conference sessions, technical papers and ePoster presentations for organizations and corporations to present their various interesting topics to advance scientific and technical knowledge for offshore resources in parallel with environmental matters.
At OTC Malaysia 2022, PTSC delegation visited many exhibition stands of our long-term partners and clients such as Petronas, MISC, T7 Global, Technip FMC, MMHE, Technip Energies, Schumberger, etc, and had fruitful discussions about regional and global oil and gas activities, solutions for challenges and opportunities ahead. At this exhibition, PTSC has also extended our special attention to new potential suppliers and vendors in EPRD Services (Engineering, Preparation, Removal and Disposal) for offshore facilities and Offshore Wind Power sector.
Although there were still certain limitations due to COVID-19 as well as the restriction from the Malaysian Government on travel and immigration for COVID-19 prevention, the OTC Malaysia 2022 was successfully organized both in-person and virtual platform, enhancing deeper cooperation among oil and gas enterprises in Malaysia and Asia region.
