On the afternoon of October 1 in Ninh Binh province, the Consortium of PTSC Quang Ngai Joint Stock Company (PTSC Quang Ngai), Keyon Process Co., Ltd, and Megarig Industries Co., Ltd solemnly held the EPC Contract Signing Ceremony with the Investor – Ninh Binh Nitrogenous Fertilizer Co., Ltd. This event marks the beginning of a strategic partnership between the contractor and the investor, while reaffirming the Consortium’s capability in industrial engineering and construction, particularly in chemical and fertilizer projects.
The ceremony was attended by representatives from both sides: on the Investor’s side, Mr. Nguyen Viet Hien – Director of Ninh Binh Nitrogenous Fertilizer Co., Ltd, along with members of the Board of Directors and functional departments; on the Contractor Consortium’s side, Mr. Le Hong Phong – Director of PTSC Quang Ngai, and Mr. Khoa Nang Cong – General Director of Megarig Industries Co., Ltd. The parties officially signed the contract, demonstrating their commitment to executing the project with guaranteed progress, quality, and efficiency.
Under the contract, the Consortium will undertake the full scope of design – procurement – construction (EPC) for the project: Investment in Repair, Renovation, and Upgrade of the Sulfur Recovery to Sulfuric Acid System. The scope of work includes numerous design and construction items to complete the H₂S treatment line, covering process and auxiliary piping systems, steel structures, storage tanks, and especially key equipment such as incinerators, boilers, heat exchangers, conversion towers, condensers, absorbers, gas scrubbers, etc., meeting high standards required for chemical plants.
The Investor – Ninh Binh Nitrogenous Fertilizer Co., Ltd – highly appreciated the Consortium’s capacity and expressed confidence that the project will be successfully implemented, contributing to improved economic efficiency for the Plant through recovery and reuse of sulfur from exhaust gas, while fully complying with environmental protection standards and requirements.
Winning the contract for Ninh Binh Nitrogenous Fertilizer EPC once again affirms the technical competence, organizational capacity, management experience, and execution capability of each Consortium member. It also opens up new opportunities for future cooperation between Vietnamese enterprises and international partners on large-scale industrial projects.
