From 21th to 23rd March 2016, the PetroVietnam delegation led by Mr. Nguyen Quoc Khanh – Chairman of the Board of Directors attended the 2nd Asian Offshore Technology Conference in Malaysia. Joining the delegation were Mr. Nguyen Quoc Thap – the Standing Vice President, Heads of PetroVietnam ‘s divisions and its subsidiaries such as PetroVietnam Exploration Production Corporation (PVEP), PetroVietnam Gas Joint Stock Corporation (PV Gas), PetroVietnam Drilling and Well Services Corporation (PV Drilling), PetroVietnam Technical Services Corporation (PTSC) and PetroVietnam Insurance Corporation (PVI).

The delegation of PTSC led by Mr. Phan Thanh Tung – President and CEO accompanied by Mr. Le Manh Cuong – Vice President, Representatives from COM (Div.), PMA, M&C, G&S and POS.

OTC Asia 2016, with the theme “Excellence in Asia”, provides the ideal platform to reflect on the achievements and aspirations of the region and the industry, and what it takes for Asia to remain resilient and responsive to a growing energy market. The conference of OTC Asia 2016 focused and emphasized the Responding to the Cost Challenges of Low Oil Price, Cost reduction through Innovation, Next Generation Workforce – Knowledge Transfer and HR Strategies, the Development of science and technology and flexible application for global energy transformation and related services in the current period.

In the framework of the business trip, Mr. Phan Thanh Tung had joined the bilateral meetings for promotion and development of cooperation projects between PetroVietnam and Technip, SapuraKecana Petroleum, Halliburton and Repsol. In the bilateral meetings, Mr. Phan Thanh Tung delivered brief report to Chairman of the Board of Directors of PetroVietnam the cooperation result with these partners during last time and the cooperative plan in future. PTSC’s willingness is to maintain and develop the cooperation with the partners. And PTSC also hope to continuously receive supports from PetroVietnam for coming projects.
