The signing of this MoU is the basis for the two companies to implement next steps in programming the Renewstable® and Hypower® power plants, boosting the production of renewable, stable and dispatchable power supply to fill the shortage gap of green electricity demand of Vietnam in the coming years. In addition, PTSC and HDF Energy are aiming to extend this collaborative business model to the Asia Pacific region.

The MoU reinforces the two companies’ sustainable business strategies toward renewable energy and reaffirms our commitments and support for the decarbonization and net-zero targets of each government of Vietnam and France.

PTSC is currently making a significant transition toward offshore renewable energy sector, with a focus on offshore wind power. PTSC sees the benefits of cooperation agreements in the growth of renewable energy and hydrogen-based power plants, applying efficient hydrogen production, storage, and transportation solutions and technologies, as a complementary business strategy to support the offshore wind power projects that PTSC is pursuing.
