On April 15, 2010, the contract signing ceremony for the sale & purchase of non-self propelled accommodation work barge 300 pax, Jaya Installer 7, between PTSC and Jaya Shipbuilding & Engineering Pte, Ltd has been organized at PTSC Head Quarter.

Accordingly, PTSC shall purchase from Jaya Shipbuilding & Engineering Pte, Ltd a non-self propelled accommodation work barge 300 pax with total contract value up to 30M USD. This contract shall be a remarkable milestone in the development plan of PTSC’s fleet of vessel.

The accommodation barge is new-built in 2010 in China, with specifications as: the total length of 111.56m, the waterline of 7.31m, registered by ABS +A1 Barge, deck area of 1,800m2 , lifting capability of 300 tons, etc. The accommodation barge shall be handed over to PTSC expectedly at 15 May 2010.

Implementing the development plan up to the year 2015, orienting to the year 2025, besides core services including marine services, supply base services, mechanical and construction services, EPIC contracts, O&M services, FSO-FPSO services, O&M services..., PTSC is providing offshore installation-operation-maintenance services for clients.

For the time being, PTSC owns the fleet of 23 vessels including AHTS, AHT, seismic vessel … The investment of this 300 pax accommodation work barge is a big step in expanding our services to offshore installation activities.

With the long-term strategic to fortify the current fleet of vessels to 100 vessels, capable of meeting 100% domestic demand and covering 30% SEA demand, the contract signing ceremony for the sale & purchase of non-self propelled accommodation work barge 300 pax, Jaya Installer 7 between PTSC and Jaya Shipbuilding & Engineering Pte, Ltd shall be not only a highlight in PTSC’s development plan of its fleet of vessel, but also a significant milestone in the cooperation between PTSC and Jaya.
