The ceremony has honorably received the participation of representatives from PTSC’s Communist Party Committee, Board of Directors, Trade Union Committee, Youth Union committee, members of "For the development of women" organization; board of management from PTSC’s subidiaries & branches and outstanding female representatives from 22 members of PTSC Corporation that has demonstrated significant achievements in the emulation movement “ Smart at work, decent at home”.

At the ceremony, Ms. Nghiem Thuy Lan - Vice president of Trade Union Committee of Vietnam Oil and Gas Group, Chief of the PVN’s Women Organization has highly appreciated the emulation movement " Smart at work, decent at home " of PetroVietnam Technical Services Corporation in the period of 2005-2009. She especially graced 02 organizations and 26 individuals that achieved “Double Good” performance in the year 2009. At this meeting, PTSC’s board of management sincerely credited and appreciated the collective effort of women workers contributing to the development of PetroVietnam Technical Services Corporation as well as showed their keen commitment on pursuing the gender equality.

After the anniversary ceremony, the delegates have lively discussed on "Gender Equality” and the “Law on Gender Equality" with the purpose to eliminate the prejudice of gender in every aspects of life in general, and particularly to foster the female workforce in PTSC. The target is to increase the percentage of female participation in management level at 25%.

This meaningful annual activity plays an important role in expressing the appreciation to female employees. The event creates a change for the lady officers enhancing the cooperation, solidarity between each other. Besides the ceremony and the conference, other activities such as cooking competition, flowery art contest, culture art performance, etc. were held to celebrate March the eighth date.

PPS for the green environment

Following up the emulation movement “ Cleaner Environment – Better Workplace” program, PPS’s Youth Union has launched “ PPS Youth For the greener environment” last March 07, 2010. PPS’s Youth Union and all employees have enthusiatically participated in activities such as bicycling program raising awareness of environment protection; cleaning the Martyrs Memorial activity; or due-biclycing contest with “PPS – Bicycling or a healthier life”.

The meaningful program has created an impressive effect on gaining the awareness of people to the environment that has being severely damaged by human unconscious activities. It has also demonstrated the social responsibilty; environment love of the PPS’s Youth Union in particular and the PPS Company in general.
