 At the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Hung Dung - General Director has given the steering wheel for PTSC Marine, the subsidiary to operate and exploit PTSC Thang Long vessel.

 Also in the ceremony, PTSC and Hoang Long - Hoan Vu JOC has together signed Letter of Charter Confirmation. By signing this confirmation, Hoang Long JOC will become the first customer opeing up a good start for the PTSC Thang Long vessel.
 "PTSC Thang Long" is the new ship purchased from Greatship Global Offshore Services Pte Ltd – Singapore, a member of Greatship India Ltd.  – GIL Corporation. This is a multi-serviced vessel AHTS 7180 BHP registered by the firm Lloyd's Register. The vessel is designed with fully-automatic machine chamber UMS, DP II control equipment, a level 1 firefighting with fire pump flow 3000m3/hr. Is was built and loaded out in January 2009 in CDL  Colombo Shipyard- Sri Lanka. The vessel was purchased on the basis of selection through international competitive bidding. The total purchase contract value exceeds $ 19M USD.

PTSC Thang Long AHTS vessel is of large capacity, modern design with high automation technique, meeting all the demand of oil & gas development activities such as transportation of goods, tugging, anchoring for the rig, supporting ROV service ... With the entire length of 64.35 m, the width of 15m;  and its weight of 2000 tons, 88 tons of static traction, the area of deck space approximately 440m2 enable for 2,000T cargo, 894m3 fuel and approximately 800m3 clean water, etc.

 The investment in purchasing PTSC Thang Long vessel is a specific investment activity in accordance with the strategy to further develop PTSC’s fleet  with the goal of becoming largest Owner of fleet of vessel in SEA region. This is the 20th vessel that PTSC owns and operates.

 PTSC Thang Long vessel shall be under services for drilling activities, field development with long-term contract for oil companies. Expectedly at full capacity, PTSC Thang Long vessel will create about $ 5 million in annual revenues for the corporation.
 Mr. Nguyen Hung Dung, General Director, has stated: "In addition to promoting investment in key business areas, especially in Marine services, the naming for PTSC Thang Long is also one of PTSC’s practical activities towards 1000 year anniversary of Thang Long – Hanoi."
