The inauguration ceremony was hononably receiving the attention of Mr. Dato 'Hasan Bin Malek - Deputy Minister of Regional Development, Malaysia Federal parliamentarian; Mr. Hoang Trong Lap - Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Vietnam in Malaysia; Mr. Dinh La Thang - Member of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of Vietnam Oil & Gas Group; PTSC's leaders, representatives from member companies of PetroVietnam; representative of clients and partners and PTSC staff working at PTSC Malaysia branch.

 PTSC branch office is located at Floor 22, South Point Center building, Midvalley, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, with the aim to promote PTSC’s business activities in Malaysia and the  Southeast Asia region, creating favorable conditions in the work of dealing with customers and partners, penetrating deeper into Malaysia and regional market while striving to create and enhance the link with Malaysia in the Oil & Gas sector.

 Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Hung Dung - General Director of PTSC - stressed: "Pursuing the direction of the Vietnam Oil & Gas Group, in the coming time we will quickly develop PTSC Branch in Malaysia into a subsidiary company, registry business in Malaysia in the form of joint stock company in which PTSC holds the lead together with reliable partners to provide local development and towards the global market, deliver profitable revenue and growth high for both PTSC and local partners. PTSC is committed to providing services with the highest quality, competitive price and timely progress."

 Additionally, Mr. Dinh La Thang - Chairman of Vietnam Oil and Gas Group has said: "The inauguration ceremony of PTSC Branch in Malaysia has marked the development and continuous growth of PTSC in the recent years. With rich experience and outstanding achievements, PTSC has not only dominated the oil and gas services market dosmetically but also stepped firmly in promoting & penetrating international markets, consistent with the development strategy of Vietnam Oil and Gas Group."

 In recent years, since launching its overseas operation , PTSC has successfully delivered several contracts to provide various types of technical services for oil and gas industry for Malaysia Clients. PTSC has been awarde many services contracts with total value up to hundreds of millions of U.S. dollars, contributing an important part to the total revenue of the corporation.
 Together with the opening of branch in Malaysia, PTSC has also conducted joint venture with MISC - members of the Malaysia National Oil Corporation (Petronas) to establish the business VOFT, MVOT to perform FPSO Ruby II, FSO Orkid. Currently, these joint ventures are under effective operation.
